In September, Podgorica will host the Try Before You Buy event between 26 and 28 September 2025. The event will be attended by 20 handpicked hosted buyers and 15 exhibitors – local providers, from hotels to event agencies.

This carefully curated three-day programme invites attendees to discover Montenegro’s vibrant cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and rich culinary traditions, while also engaging in meaningful networking opportunities.
Day 1 – Arrivals
Attendees will arrive at the destination and be warmly welcomed with a convivial dinner, providing the perfect setting to relax, connect, and prepare for the days ahead. The next day, they will choose between two options:
Day 2 – Cultural immersion in Montenegro (Podgorica, Cetinje & Skadar Lake)
- City Museum of Podgorica – A journey through the archaeological, ethnographic, and historical heritage of the capital.
- Old Town (Stara Varoš) – Stroll through the heart of Ottoman-era Podgorica, featuring the iconic Clock Tower.
- Stone Bridge at Sastavci – A photogenic site and the city’s oldest preserved bridge.
- Cetinje – The Old royal capital – Visit Montenegro’s historic and cultural centre, nestled between national parks.
- Museums of Cetinje – Discover Montenegro’s regal past at King Nikola’s Palace, Njegoš Museum, and the Art Museum of Montenegro.
- Rijeka Crnojevića – Explore this scenic riverside town on the shores of Lake Skadar.
- Lake Skadar Boat Cruise – Cruise through one of Europe’s most biodiverse lakes, a haven for birdlife and nature lovers.
- Traditional Montenegrin Lunch at Oblun Resort – Enjoy live preparation of national delicacies such as raštan, japraci, kačamak, and cicvara.
- Gala Dinner at Šipčanik Wine Cellar – Experience fine Montenegrin wines in a majestic cellar carved deep beneath a vineyard.

Day 2 – Option 2
- Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ – A monumental place of worship featuring the largest church bell in the Balkans.
- Royal Complex at Kruševac – Visit the 19th-century former residence of the Petrović dynasty.
- Risto Stijović Gallery – Explore the birthplace and gallery of Montenegro’s modern art pioneer.
- Old Town (Stara Varoš) & Sastavci Stone Bridge – Walk through the city’s oldest quarters and across its most iconic bridge.
- Virpazar – A picturesque town and launch point for exploring Lake Skadar.
- Lake Skadar Boat Cruise – Glide past secluded islets, historical ruins, and bird sanctuaries.
- Lunch at Besac Fortress – Relish live cooking of traditional fish dishes amid spectacular lake views.
- Gala Dinner at Šipčanik Wine Cellar – Conclude the day with a curated wine-tasting experience in an unforgettable setting.

DAY 3 – Meetings & departure
