Air Montenegro sustains connections with Slovenia

Air Montenegro has been operating on the route from Montenegro (Podgorica, Tivat) to Slovenia (Ljubljana) since its establishment. The number of weekly rotations from Montenegro to Slovenia has steadily increased, and now the airline connects Montenegro with Ljubljana with six weekly rotations during the summer and three during the winter season.


Besides Slovenia, Air Montenegro connects Montenegro with markets of Serbia, Turkey, Italy, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Denmark and Slovakia within Europe.

Air Montenegro is the Montenegrin national airline, established on February 8, 2021. The primary activity of the company is air passenger transport, which includes air transportation of passengers on regular routes, charter flights, scenic flights, leasing of aircraft with crews for passenger transport, and transportation of passengers by aeroclubs for training or recreational purposes.

Flying to 17 destinations

Air Montenegro currently operates to 17 destinations from its base at Montenegro Airports (Podgorica and Tivat) using both the existing network and seasonal deals. They regularly operate flights to Baku, Belgrade, Brno, Bratislava, Zurich, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Izmir, Copenhagen, Lyon, Ljubljana, Munich, Nantes, Ostrava, Paris, Prague, and Rome. There are also organized charter flights to Yerevan, Katowice, Rzeszow, Cairo, Vilnius, Talin, Riga, Graz, Budapest, Pardubice, Kosice, Tel Aviv…

In 2023, the airline conducted more than 5,350 flights and transported 480,000 passengers. In line with its strategy, Air Montenegro will continue further expansion of its offerings, fleet, and services. From August 2023, Air Montenegro has been a member of IATA.
