The organisers of the 22nd Fotona Weekend crafted a Mediterranean-inspired ambience
Cankarjev dom has not moved to the seaside. On the contrary, the renowned venue’s 23 meeting halls remain in Ljubljana, where event organisers have been hosting numerous conferences, symposia and other events during the first weeks of summer. Here and there, though, event organisers desire a more Mediterranean setting for their events. The team of Cankarjev dom helped co-organise the International Fotona Weekend for the second time as a PCO (Professional Congress Organiser). The organisation included orchestrating the registration of attendees, overseeing the finances (fee management and invoices) and providing professional staff members, who led the registration and welcomed the attendees on-site. The technical team also collected all the speakers’ presentations and ensured the technical presentations in the halls ran flawlessly.

The 22nd International Fotona Weekend took place from 22 to 25 May 2025 in Hotel Bernardin in Portorož on the Slovenian coast. The event convened leading distributors under the Fotona brand who participated in educational courses under the leadership of Fotona’s experts in dentistry, esthetics and gynaecology. A part of the weekend was traditionally dedicated to additional team activities. Over the last two days, the organisers concurrently organised the 15th Laser & Health Academy, dedicated to presenting the latest research findings and educating LA&HA experts in numerous fields. Besides several lectures and presentations, the organisers also hosted the traditional Fotona Dinner and other networking events, where the growing LA&HA community of medical experts could strengthen ties.
