Budapest: A Rising MICE Destination in 2025

Hungary is boosting its appeal for international conferences by increasing financial support for medical and pharmaceutical events and launching the Budapest MICE Fund in 2025. These initiatives enhance flexibility for organizers and reinforce Budapest’s position as a leading MICE destination.

Hungary is making a bold move to attract more medical and pharmaceutical conferences by tripling the daily hospitality budget for these events to €105 per attendee. The increased funding gives organizers more flexibility and access to high-end venues, strengthening the country’s already strong position in the regional MICE market.

Another major boost is coming in 2025 with the launch of the Budapest MICE Fund, designed to support both large (500+ participants) and smaller (50+ participants) conferences.

With these measures, Hungary is sharpening its competitive edge, aiming to make Budapest a go-to destination for international industry events.
