Belgrade is proud to announce that it will host the 46th International Congress for the History of Pharmacy (ISHP Congress 2024) in collaboration with the Section for the History of Pharmacy of the Pharmaceutical Association of Serbia and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Belgrade. The Congress will be held from September 4th to 7th, 2024.
This prestigious event, with almost a century of tradition, gathers experts in the fields of pharmacy, medicine, and the history of science from around the world, providing a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and insights on the history of pharmacy. The Congress theme, “Pharmaceutical Profession and Society: ROOTS, DEVELOPMENT, AND LESSONS FOR THE FUTURE,” will be explored through plenary sessions and panels featuring leading experts.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the present and future challenges of the history of pharmacy as an academic discipline. The Congress will also traditionally host a ceremonial meeting of the International Academy for the History of Pharmacy.
